The country surrounding the Missouri River provides an unforgettable hunt. Sparsely populated, eastern Montana leaves more room for elk, deer, and antelope. You will be surrounded by wildlife, even outnumbered. Hunt the wide-open spaces for pronghorn antelope, mule deer or whitetail. The spacious prairie around Tillmans offers hunting that you will treasure for a long time.
Archery season in Montana opens in early September and this is the best way to get an Elk tag for this area. The elk are plentiful but the Rifle tags are sparse. The antelope thrive in the rolling grain fields and prairie here. These prairie speedsters provide an exhilarating hunt. The whitetail deer and mule deer have multiplied with the open winters. Thousands of acres of private ranch and farmland can be accessed through Tillmans for these hunts. The wildlife is plentiful and you will find trophy quality available.
Rifle season opens the third week in October. We offer combo hunts for mule deer, whitetail and antelope or elk. Rifle elk hunts are by special permit and the success rate on the permit draw is low but the elk are big and well worth the hunt. These hunts are non guided hunts.
These rates include lodging at the Bed and Breakfast and all meals. Montana Hunting licenses must be purchased in addition. An area for hanging the game is available.
